Description:

Requirements:

Description:
.• Work closely with plant personnel to actively identify continuous improvement projects in the plant, providing project parameters/plan and prioritizing implementation using cost/quality benefit analysis. Ensure the plant CI tracking reports are maintained at all times. • Execute projects according to the business plan, resolving issues to ensure successful out-come. Proactively search for and identify additional CI projects across the plant and help prioritize execution against ongoing plant goals. • Develop and apply necessary technical skills to deliver improvement results for approved projects. • Engage plant personnel on use of various continuous improvement/Lean tools and methods, acting as a mentor and coach, helping Employees learn the CI/Lean techniques through a “Lead by Example” process. Lead shop floor meetings and brainstorming events as part of ongoing project execution. • Develop stretched metrics and ensure ongoing tracking, analysis of trends, and implementa-tion of ad hoc activities (corrective actions) to ensure progress (metrics) is on track. • Serve as a technical resource to support analysis, data collection and problem solving as needed. Develop and update a capacity analysis for the plant as changes are made. • Maintain appropriate project documentation that clearly illustrate project progress during implementation and success at completion. • Develop project scope for any projects requiring capital so that the Engineering department can facilitate approvals and execution. • Develop training SOP’s as a result of assigned project implementation and deliver training as required. • Develop and facilitate shop floor and classroom training for employees and staff as required. • Develop strong technical network with plant, business unit and corporate resources as re-quired to complete projects. • Act as a mentor and leader for the CI Specialist. • Motivate staff to ensure the customer (internal and external) remains prominent in the execu-tion of departmental activities, with the goal of achieving positive customer experience.
Requirements:
• Minimum completion of 3 years experience directly related to continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment (ideally in food industry) with focus on the following preferred: o Lean and/or six sigma tools such as process mapping, 5S, Kaizen, FMEA & SMED o Efficiency calculations, downtime tracking and root cause analysis o Exposure to business financials including how to justify project work (ROI) o Working with a wide array of plant personnel ranging from hourly employees to senior management with strong influencing and coaching skills. o Project management experience, championing initiatives working both collabo-ratively and independently, depending upon the nature of the project. o Previous Change Management training or experience is a benefit o Previous experience working in a windows environment with excel, access & SAP (an asset).

Description:
This job provides leadership and supervision to the warehouse and distribution management (full-blown logistics services from receiving, warehousing, reservation, picking, packing, internal delivery and external shipping services), collaborate with 3PL / service providers and add value to both internal and external customer needs. Requirements:
Minimum Bachelors degree in either of the Business disciplines: Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics or equivalent. Other professional qualification in supply chain related discipline such as Professional Project Management Designation, CPIM, CIRM, P.Log, Green Belt, Six Sigma is preferred. Minimum 10 years of logistics experience with at least 5 years in a supervisory role, ideally in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing industry. Experience with budget development and capability management. Proven successes in motivating, coaching, problem-solving, conflict management, decision-making, prioritizing and achieving results through members of the teams and the organization. Demonstrated service and customer oriented attitude and results oriented with strong analytical thinking. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exhibited capacity in building consensus with cross-functional teams. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Competency in applying complex logistics technologies.

Requirements:
Bachelor in Food Science EXPERIENCE: 5+ years food industry experience. Experience with sauce technology and value-added frozen food, restaurant and culinary experiences a plus. SKILLS: Excellent project management, attention to detail and communication skills are required. Must have the ability to lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion across cross-functional teams
