Description:
The Senior Industrial Engineer is responsible for all Industrial Engineering activities within the site, facilitates continuous improvement efforts to support plant productivity targets, and provide analysis, recommendations and reporting on various site metrics. · Review and ensure timely delivery of monthly production metrics through the Production Report and Site Report. · Develop new processes and tools to collect and communicate production data on a shift by shift basis. · Develop Overall Equipment Effectives targets, metrics and reporting methods. · Ensure timely communication of production results to production floor (i.e. KPI boards). · Manage and audit the production routing data in Oracle to support RCCP and ABC costing models. · Validate monthly cycle times for technical projects, including new product launches · Validate yearly Top 100 products cycle times based on campaigning strategy · Review and present cost justifications for equipment replacement (and other CER's) to Site Director. · Participate in site Work Plan development by providing analysis on previous capacity, labour, and constrained work centers. · Ensure completion of ad hoc analysis as request by business partners both within scope and expected time lines. · Identify, analyze and recommend best corrective action for constrained work centers, including technical transfers, equipment justifications and/or change in labor strategy. · Build site Technical Work Plan · In partnership with Site Planning Manager, ensure accurate efficiencies are reflected in planning model (labor and machinery). · Identify and implement CI opportunities to optimize site efficiencies and capacity · Participate on corporate Black Belt/Kaizen projects as production Subject Matter Expert · As determined in the project(s) Control Plan, develop, maintain, and report various CI metrics to ensure the stability of implemented changes and process.
Requirements:
· Canadian University degree in Engineering or Science. · Minimum 5 -7 years related experience in the Pharmaceutical, Food or CPG industry. · Six Sigma training or certification preferred. · ERP systems (Oracle), Microsoft Office, Automated Time and Attendance (Kronos), Lotus Notes. · Strong leadership skills with effective time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with conflicting and changing priorities. · Demonstrated analytical skills and problem solving skills. · Fluent communicator – written and oral, with strong presentation skills.

Description:
Total Performance Management -TPM Plans: * Responsible for the implementation, management, and successful operation of the Continuous Excellence program in the plant * Ensures plant Continuous Excellence plan is aligned with the Corporate Reference Guide. * Coordinates the development of the preparation phase plan, tracks progress against the plan and leads issue resolution (gap analysis and adjustments to plan) * Implements appropriate reviews (monthly, quarterly) to evaluate both pillars and departmental progress. * Oversees the individual program pillars, sets benchmarks, and tracks completion of pillar goals; including participation in pillar meetings, team meetings and activities * Develops Pillar leaders and manages their development * Serves as a resource and coach for questions and practices. * Coordinates activities with outside consultants * Serves as champion in the facility to promote TPM amongst management and employees Culture Changes * Ensure TPM work is positively impacting both results and the plant culture change in its zero loss journey. General Accountability: As the head of the Quality Control team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the quality of products and processes. Emphasis will be on continuous Quality improvement, proactive troubleshooting, downgrade reduction and an improvement in First Pass Quality, assisting in the implementation and maintenance of the QMS program, direction and supervision of all lab personnel and acting as an integral member of the Leadership team.
